Guys i'm 14 and i suck at explaining so just bear with me: a thought just poped in my mind while i was watching a timer. is time even measured correctly? how does 0 seconds suddenly appear as 1? there are infinite numbers that it takes to go to one, like 0.4 to 0.878230640236408103147 and so on. shouldn't that take longer? 0 should never reach 1 am i right? my brain is just going all over the place plz me

Well I think I can see what you're getting at here, and there are many fractions of a second which time goes by in, but think about it in a different perspective. Days are divided into hours, hours into minutes, minutes into seconds, so it doesn't really appear, just milliseconds and anything smaller than those go by really quickly.

Well there are different units. Like seconds, milliseconds, etc. 0 will reach 1 too, but I don't know how to explain
