The Classical the second period of greek sculpture between the Archaic and Hellenistic times.  This period shows a very large shift  from the stiff Archaic to a  more realistic and sometimes idealistic portrayal of the human figure. Then the Hellenistic the third period started little before 300 B.C. to the average person, it is very difficult to see the distinction between the Classical and Hellenistic periods.
