If one of the levels in the biological organization does not perform its

function properly, it will have a negative effect on the other levels and

organisms as a whole.

Organism comprises of cells which is the smallest unit of life and aggregates to form  tissues. The tissues then aggregate to form  organs and the organs aggregate to form a system.

When one of the levels are affected , it brings about non-functionality of the

system which is the highest level and the organism in which they are found in for its optimal functioning and metabolic processes.

The level of biological organization is a hierarchical step consisting of how a multicellular organism forms. According to this level of organization, CELLS are the simplest unit of life and the collection of cells with a similar function is termed TISSUE. Tissues form ORGANS, organs form ORGAN SYSTEMS and finally, a collection of all the systems in the body forms the ORGANISM.

Based on this, one would observe that each level is related to the next in such a way that one forms from the other.
