Do scientists believe single cell or multicellular organisms were the first to arise from an early earth?

I hope this helps but multi-cellular organisms evolved from unicellular organisms. so yes scientist do believe single cell organisms were the first to arise to early earth because they were here before earth formed also, the first multi-cellular organisms to be on earth would have been animals.
