If a scientist was in the process of conducting research on a sinkhole, there are a few questions that he would focus on right away: What caused this sinkhole? What could have been done to prevent this from occurring? How deep is the sinkhole? How to we repair it? What to we need to do in the future to keep it from reoccurring? Obtaining answers to these questions would help prevent sinkholes in the future which in turn, keeps people safe.
