Informal education is a general term for education that can occur outside of a structured curriculum. Informal education encompasses student interests within a curriculum in a regular classroom, but is not limited to that setting. It works through conversation, and the exploration and enlargement of experience.

Explanation:

There are many children, women, deprived and marginal group who cannot go to school due to poor economic condition ,unavailability of school, illiteracy and so on. This people join formal education program designed for a special group in the society, this people programs include education for women ,education for children, education for orphans etc. A person who teaches in these informal education program is called informal education tutor. They are also called facilitator in informal education.
