Why don’t atoms fall apart ?

Atoms don't fall apart due to there strong attraction to each other.

Explanation:

While atoms can be split they cant just fall apart. There strong attraction to each other keeps them together but when to the gap between them begins to expand the attraction begins to weaken. Think of it as two magnets and the atoms are the north and south poles and when they begin to separate the attraction weakens as they go further apart.
