The boiling point of bromine (br2) is lower than iodine monochloride (icl) because icl molecules have a higher melting point. Also, the atoms of iodine monochloride have more electrons causing the intermolecular forces between iodine forces to be stronger. As the iodine forces are stronger, the boiling point will be higher.
