"Auspex" by James Russell Lowell is a hopeful poem suggesting not to overlook even the smallest of things like "bird's nest". He advocates to value the precious elements of nature(birds, brown leaves) and appreciate and enjoy the gifts of nature. The author uses the metaphor of birds to emphasize his message and the poem is composed in a sequential manner which is suggestive of different stages of the natural process begins with the birdsongs and conclude with the bird leaving the nest which he compares to the death of a child and hinting towards the end to good times and filled his heart with sorrow.

sorry i was debating over answering this question or not, but i do believe it is a sin to be gay. in the beginning, god created man and he created women to be a for man. there are many "political" views on this topic but i believe the bible is right. in the kjv bible, leviticus 18: 22, god talks about how it it is an abomination for women to be with women and man to be with man. god knows that everybody is a sinner, and he gives everyone a chance to repent. i'm not forcing god's word on anybody, but i do believe it is a sin. no matter the sin, as long as you repent, god is willing to forgive, you just have to accept him as your lord and savior.
