The light bulb

Explanation:

The light bulb made in the year 1879 was one of the most revolutionary inventions to this date. The reason as to why this is, Is simple everywhere  you go you see a light bulb in your phone screen in your home in the flash light you use. These are everywhere, back before they where invented people where left in the dark and muggings and murder rates where high since no one was around to see or could see. This is also important in todays society as a light bulb although simple and very basic it goes far beyond what the ordinary person thinks of it has helped solved murders with the use of black light it has helped stop crime by lighting everything up making people weary of what they decide to do. This simple little thing does much more than what catches the eye.

remember always that germany and italy, regardless of any formal declaration of war, consider themselves at war with the united states at this moment just as much as they consider themselves at war with britain or russia. and germany puts all the other republics of the americas into the same category of enemies. the people of our sister republics of this hemisphere can be honored by that fact.  

the true goal we seek is far above and beyond the ugly field of battle. when we resort to force, as now we must, we are determined that this force shall be directed toward ultimate good as well as against immediate evil. we americans are not destroyers — we are builders.
