Not sure how you're going to copy this down, you might need to re-format but I did find a few mistakes throughout the text (not too many.) You wrote quite an interesting essay :)

change this sentence,

INCORRECT>"A victim testified  and clarified the facts. "

CORRECT >"A victim testified  and clarified these facts. "

(THIRD SECTION):

"He asked me for a check for $500. When I went to get the check, I found out he had ransacked my closets. He stole $300 and some precious jewelry. Shocked, I didn't know what to do or say..."

(note: I wasn't quite sure if he was currently ransacking her closets while she was in the house or if he ransacked her house and then left, so I can only assume that the sentence was supposed to be in past tense.)

(FOURTH SECTION)

Thus, Mr. Banon also took advantage of the vulnerability of the elderly to steal goods such as paintings, jewels, and pocket money that remained in the house.

(FINAL SECTION)
