We are always accustomed to associate the hum of the bee-hive with the farm house and flower garden, and to consider those industrious little animals as connected with the busy haunts of man, and I am told that the wild bee is seldom to be met with at any great distance from the frontier. They have been the heralds of civilization, steadfastly preceding it as it advanced from the Atlantic borders, and some of the ancient settlers of the west pretend to give the very year when the honey bee first crossed the Mississippi. 1.   in sonnet 18, the speaker wants to describe the beauty of his love, but can’t find the words to do so. the speaker says “then in mid-utterance the lay was lost” when he tries to think of the words to describe his love’s beauty.   through his defeat of finding words to describe his love, he shows his love for her.

2.   instead of describing how perfect his love is or comparing her to other beautiful things, he says she is average and there is nothing special about her.   at the last 2 lines of the poem, the volta changes the poem by saying that even though his love is average in beauty, his love for her is special and unique. so instead of praising her throughout the whole poem, he contrasts her average characteristics with his special love for her.

3.   the beloved asked the speaker to describe how he feels about her. she begins to describe what she feels but "drop the torch" and says that she can't do it because the words "hid in me out of reach." the the speaker says "nay, let the silence of my womanhood command my woman-love to thy belief" and that her silence will have to be the answer to his question.

the scene now shifts back to the shelby plantation in kentucky, where  aunt chloe  has just received the letter tom wrote her with little eva's . mrs. shelby tells her husband about the letter, in which tom says that although his new family is kind, he still longs to return to his "real home."

mr. shelby, in the meantime, has still been plagued by debt. mrs. shelby offers to raise money, especially so that they can buy tom. mr. shelby becomes angry, and his wife lets the unlikely hope drop for the present. chloe then calls for mrs. shelby and asks if she could be hired out as a pastry cook in louisville in order to earn money for tom. mrs. shelby gives chloe her blessing.

investment in early intervention health care is a proven strategy to decrease high costs burdening the public and government sectors. by strengthening preparedness capacity and supporting low-cost preventative services, mortality rates and the health of populations can be significantly improved. over the past 6 years, considerable investments have been made to establish and expand influenza vaccine manufacturing capacity in developing countries. these investments have improved preparedness for seasonal and pandemic influenza, and have indirectly improved health systems, surveillance, detection, and response activities by leveraging additional support and building capacity within these countries and regions. to fully maximize investments and to ensure sustainability of influenza vaccine manufacturing in developing countries, there is a need to increase national and regional uptake of vaccination.

the percentage of who member states incorporating seasonal influenza vaccination into national immunization programs remains low with significant regional variations. high vaccine and service costs, competing health priorities, difficulties in measuring vaccine efficacy and cost–effectiveness, and adverse public opinion regarding vaccination all influence the policy decisions affecting national immunization programs.
