Indirect characterization is where a writer does not directly tell you what a character
is like but instead describes his appearance, thoughts, speech, actions, emotions, etc.
Based off those details you make assumptions and inferences about the character.
How is Curley's wife described? What is a tart? Why do the characters seem to believe
that she is a tart?
