IMPORTANCE OF RACIAL HARMONY IN A DEMOCRACY.

What is democracy? Democracy simply put is, government of the people, for the people and by the people. It is a system of government where the people hold the power and can put someone in government to represent them and their interests.

There needs to exist racial harmony for a democracy to thrive because "the people" are made up of different ethnic groups, racial background and identity.

If the people can harmonize regardless of their race, then a democracy would truly be bliss because the people would come together to choose the best choice for them.

Where there is strife and racial differences, there will exist squabbles, and disunity when choosing a leader and living under a democratic system.
