In addition, history makes us feel hopeless and helpless, as there is nothing Fortunado can do to save himself. Finally, the story makes me feel agony. This feeling is the result of terror for being trapped, asking for help and not being able to be attended by anyone, having no other choice but to languish and die slowly.
