Pt 1.

Sharing an apartment with a family member (or two) can be both a relief and a cause of stress. In the end, your experience living with a family roommate depends largely on the character of that family member and you. If you get along with the family member, you may find living with him or her much more comfortable than living with a stranger or even a friend. When you know and trust a family member who lives with you, you can be yourself around your roommate and you probably won’t have to worry about stolen items or finding out your roommate is a different person to live with than he or she is to hang out with. If you’re living with a sibling, a cousin or even a parent, it’s easy to fall into the habit of falling behind in your payments. After all, “families stick together,” so some irresponsible apartment dwellers might believe their family roommate can cover a “month or two” of rent payment, which turns into a few months more. Too afraid to cause family drama, the responsible roommate let him or herself be taken advantage of.

Strong and positive family relationships are enjoyable for their own sake – it just feels good to be part of a warm and loving family.

But positive family relationships are important for lots of other reasons too.  They:

help children feel secure and loved, which gives them confidence to explore their world, try new things and learnmake it easier for your family to solve problems, resolve conflict and respect differences of opiniongive children the skills they need to build healthy relationships of their own.

The word “family” everyone has their own meanings to the word, is it blood relatives? Is it friends? Can it be anyone or anything? I honestly think that family is defined by a connection you feel with a specific person or thing. Family isn’t just someone you live with, it’s someone you can consider that being with them you feel as if you’re at home. Family members don’t need to see each other all the time, you can be connected with someone who lives many miles away. As long as the connection between the two people or more stays strong. Even if you’re not speaking. Family’s don’t have to be biological, a family isn’t blood. Just because you are related doesn’t mean you have love towards them or feel safe with them. Family will never always agree on the same thing because everyone has their opinion. And liking other things gives a connection between two people because without having other things to like it makes you the same person and no one is the same. Sharing the same traditions are not essential to being a family you can a god fearing person and your family might not even believe in religion. But as long as they respect each others life styles it doesn’t create an issue. So in all a family isn’t being related. Being a family can be a pet. As long as there’s love, feelings, meaning, behind the relationship family can be anyone. Family is someone that supports you unconditional. Someone that even if they leave you can connect again as if you never left. Family has a deeper meaning then just being related.
