Need Help Asap 07.06 writing an argument

I need help writing an essay for my English class here are what I have for my first and second body paragraphs, its about "is Florida doing enough to prevent distracted driving"
Florida is doing enough to protect people against distracted driving. The law they have put in place makes typing on any mobile device like emailing, texting or note a primary offense. An officer can now stop drivers if they suspect them of doing anything of that sort (Miami Springs Police Department 1). First time offenders will face a $30 fine and second time offenders will receive a $60 fine plus three drivers license points.

Although this law was put into place to keep citizen in Florida from being on their
phones while driving, reports have still shown that one of the biggest causes of traffic collision is due to being on the phone.
