In the second paragraph, why do you suppose Miller claims that “one can only pity them all”? Why should the 1950s Americans who formed the original audience of play be pitied in the future? Should audiences in our day be pitied for the same reason? Is America changing or staying the same? (Please help me i beg you please!!)
