In the wilderness act, read special provision (3) of section 4 about mining. what key points are made in this provision

A key point made in this provision is that mining locations inside of wilderness boundaries "shall be held and used solely for mining or processing operations". This is elaborated further upon by stating, "...all patents issued under the mining laws of the United States affecting national forest lands designated by this Act as wilderness areas shall convey title to the mineral deposits within the claim, together with the right to cut and use so much of the mature timber therefrom as may be needed in the extraction, removal, and beatification of the mineral deposits..." This allows for mining and cutting down of trees in these areas, the next part of this sentence essentially says that the land must be restored once facilities are finish with it.
