Some believe that the left brain is the more important hemisphere and needs to be developed as much as possible since it is in charge of math, science, and language- subjects that take up most of our learning time in school. The other side of the argument says that we need to develop the right brain skill of music and art more, and teach them more in school. Realizing that we use both sides of our brain for most activities, where do you stand on the right brain-left brain development debate? What subjects should be taught in grade schools?
