How do you stop someone from hyperventilating-and freaking out? A friend of mine is freaking out because she is failing all her classes and she’s now hyperventilating and I don’t know how to calm her-

Try getting them to breathe into there belly rather than there chest and try to get them to hold there breath for 10 to 15 seconds at a time or try to get them too breath in there cupped

hands or a paper bag
