It can harm the growth of the fetus, it increases the risk of a miscarriage, and the baby could be born premature. It can also cause FAS or fetal alcohol syndrome. Also it can slow the growth of brain cells and the alcohol can go from the mothers blood to the fetus's blood.

i think itś the 2nd one because its not anything major like having sex. its putting limits to your self if that makes sense.
