This station is cooperation among nations to improve the research in various fields of science, such as biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, geography, or even meteorology. Within this station, there is a laboratory with micro-gravity conditions to provide the data that they need.

The construction of the ISS began in 1998 and is scheduled to operate until 2024. So far, ISS is the largest spacecraft orbiting the Earth.
