Young Italy (La Giovine Italia in Italian) was a political movement for the Italian youth founded in 1831 by Giuseppe Mazzini. A month later, convinced that his demands were not conveyed to the king, he founded the Young Italy movement in Marseille,from where it spread out to other nations across Europe.
