From 8 December 1941 till 8 May 1942, Japan went ahead to wage a war with The Phillippines. The war was known as the battle of the Phillippines, the Phillippines campaign, or the fall of the Phillippines. In that war, America joined forces with the Phillippines to fight off the Japanese soldiers. The Japanese launched their attack from the Formosa sea. Even though the defending side had a higher number of fighters, they were not all made up of well-trained soldiers.
