Which is the proper order of a bill becoming a law after it is introduced in the senate

1. starts at the senate2. bill is sent to a committee (most don't make it past here)3. bill is put on the schedule for the appropriate house  4. bill is debated on the "floor"5. voting must win a majority to pass6. bill is amended in second house, goes back to original house7a.   conference committee members of both chambers can determine a compromise. must be approved by both houses.7b. bill is given to the president, if signed, it becomes law.
