Asap im in desprite need of sleep how do i write an equation in slope intercept form based off of a pair of parallel lines?

slope intercept form is based off: y = mx + b where m is slope and b is the y intercept.

you have to make 2 parallel lines. parallel lines have the same slope but different y intercept.

in other words they change at the same rate but start at different places.

an example is

x + 1 and x + 2

both have a slope of 1 but intercept the y axis at different places.
