The IEOR advisor at ESS (Engineering Student Services) meets very few students in the early morning. Assume now there are 3 IEOR students in ESS, one meeting with the advisor and the other 2 are waiting in line. At the moment the student currently meeting with the advisor leaves, a 4th student comes in. Let W be the waiting time of the 4th student until he/she starts meeting with the advisor. Compute the PDF and CDF of W, assuming the service times for each student are i. i.d. with density f(x) = x^xe-, c > 0, A > 0.
