Mr. Washington, the physical education teacher, was planning a tournament for the noon league baseball teams at his school. He had six teams that wanted to participate in the tournament: Angels Cardinals Royals Dodgers Blue Jays Giants What schedule could he write for the six teams so that each team will play every other team once and no team will ever be idle? How many games will he have to schedule if a new team (total of 7) enters the tournament? Is there a way he can tell how many games he will have to schedule for a tournament, no matter how many teams want to play?
