East plane speed = x

 Flew for 4 hours = 4x

West plane = (x+75)

Flew for 4 hours = 4(x+75) = 4x+300

 

4x +4x +300 = 5460

8x = 5160

X = 5160 /8 = 645

 East plane is flying at 645

 West plane is flying 645 + 75 = 720
