How do you treat a chemical burn? let me tell you the story

so I was cleaning my grandmas bathtub because it hadn't been cleaned for a couple months

I put tons of different chemicals and cleaners and I don't have any gloves

I put one last chemical in the bathtub cause this stain was BAD.

i touched them

my thumbs skin started stinging it is know the morning it is red and there is a liquid coming out of it please help it isn't bad I just want to know how to treat it

oof um. run cool water over your finger or hand for 10 to 15 min. after flushing the burn, cover it with a dry, sterile bandage. if needed, take OTC pain medication such as ibuprofen, naproxen or acetaminophen. Hope you feel better!

1. remove the cause of the burn. Flush the chemical off the skin with cool running water for at least 10 minutes. 2. Remove clothes or jewelry that has been contaminated by the chemical. 3. Bandage the burn. 4. Flush again if needed.
