2) Convection : Here medium molecules absorbs the thermal energy and then  move from one place to other place. So here in this method heat is transferred by actual movement of medium

3) Radiation : Here as we know that there is no medium required in this way of heat transfer and here energy is transferred by electromagnetic waves.

So here in barbecue when we cooked chicken then in this process there is no direct contact so here we can say that thermal energy is converted into radiation and kinetic energy of air molecules which helps to cook chicken
