Two block with masses m1 and m2, as shown, are connected by a light string. A second string is also connected to the block of mass m2. The string is used to pull the blocks up a ramp with tension F directed parallel to the ramp. The ramp is inclined at an angle θ to the horizontal, as shown in the diagram. Friction is negligible. Derive an equation for the acceleration of the two blocks in terms of m1, m2, F, and θ, assuming that the strings do not stretch.
