In American a field goal is a means of scoring by which a kicker kicks a football through yellow uprights and over a crossbar. The horizontal crossbar suspended 10 feet (3.0 m) above the ground, with two vertical goalposts 18 feet 6 inches (5.64 m) apart extending vertically from each
end of the crossbar. The kicker typically kicks the ball 7 yards behind the where the ball is placed.
The field goal is also 10 yards deep into the endzone. If the ball is placed on the 48 yard line and the
