C. Recognition at work is not a cause of burnout.

Burnout, or occupational burnout, can be defined as a sustained, long-term job stress. Some specialists argue that the only two symtoms are fatigue and exhaustion, while others argue that some workers that suffer from burnout meet the diagnosic criteria for depression.
