The violence that takes place due to a result of the general role stereotype associated with each gender that is also present due to the unequal power relationships between genders, in their particular social norms, such violence is classified as gender-based violence.

To overcome this violence we can adapt following actions-

- Help in women’s full participation in civil society: Socially active women can influence the participation of women in civil society.

- Scaling the efforts for addressing unequal gender power relations - determining the power inequality in genders correctly help in awareness in people.

- Developing practical guidance for building whole systems - providing support in various means to survivor children who experience perpetrators in the family.

- Developing practical guidance for building whole systems - providing laws to support them, counselling, and shelters for such survivors.
