Imagine that you decided to attend a Deaf event as a hearing person. Unfortunately, when you attend this event, you find that you are not warmly welcomed by the Deaf community. Discuss why this might be the case, how you think it would make you feel, and what you would do.

I would put myself in there position and see how dose it feel like being deaf

I would think they would act that way because they automatically assume that I do not know ASL and expect them to read my lips and be very rude and miss social ques. It would make me feel out of place and uncomfortable and I would stay and show that I am respectable and understand and respect their culture.
