A trampoline park charges an hourly rate(H) to bounce, and a 15 dollar entrance fee, so even if you don't bounce on the trampolines, you still have to pay 15 dollars to get in. If you do bounce you will have a total cost (T) which includes the amount of hours bounced, and the entrance fee. Below, see the table which displays the total cost (T) to bounce, for the amount of hours(H) you choose.
Bounce Cost
Hours (variable “H” for hours)
Total Cost (variable “T” for total cost)
0
$15 (just to get in)
1
$ 25
2
$ 35
3
$ 45
4
$ 55

Before choosing the equation that represents the relationship between hours “H” and “T” total cost, according to the pattern of this table, think about how much you are really paying per hour, as that seems to not change. Remember you have an entrance fee charge, which is separate from your hourly rate.

Which equation represents the relationship and why?

Equation:

Explanation:

T= 8H
T= 15H +3
T= 5H +10
T= 10H +15
